Looking at pictures, it is always a different thing: They show only very incompletely the things you see. On the one hand. They are just two-dimensional, and sometimes the depth is missing. Therefore, on the other hand photos possibly are able to state even more --- because they see first only what is there, and because there is no third dimension, no fast running movement on the picture, which can distract from things, which are actually in front of the lens. And occasionally you surprised yourself, with the things you actually photographed, when the pictures return from the development: That was actually on them?
